Match Report
Kingston Grammar School Boys-U13B vs  Reed's School
On: Saturday, 09 Nov 2019
Venue: Away

A fantastic game was held by Reeds school as KGS looked to overturn their 8-2 loss on the opening game of the season. KGS came flying out the blocks with everything that Mattia Galvani touched turning into goals, with balls flying off his reverse stick inbetween the sticks. By the end of the 1st third KGS were 4-1 up but Reeds started to show their class working hard to get back into the game. Two quick goals shortened the lead of KGS and set up a fascinating final third. Both teams were visibly tired and passes started to lead a stray. Some great runs by Nestor continued to carve up the Reeds defence and some lovely interplay between Nelson and Liam continued to bring KGS forward. However, after a barrage of short corners from Reeds the levelling goal was only a matter of time. It finished 4-4 and was a fair reflection on what had been an end to end game.
